Composition is balancing everything that lies within your frame to better enhance the story or emotion of the subject matter; It's designing the subject matter in a way that pleases any viewer. Sometimes it's adding masses with variation to build asymmetry in space behind a character which leads your eye inward or knowing what not to add. It doesn't matter if the theme is that of comedy or horror, composing with conscious design decisions is what sets apart a novice from a pro.

In Session 24, Design Principles Part III, I will focus on composition and how to master focal point, rhythm, appeal, and flow among many things. I'll define the difference between rules, principles and elements of design. I'll analyze what makes good and bad composition as well as explore examples from art history that paved the way for today's composers.
